Asset Finance

We provide the full range of EU and Swedish competition law advice to our clients in Sweden and other Nordic countries. We are able to provide both contentious and non-contentious advice in this respect.

The Stockholm office has gained significant experience of multi-jurisdictional merger filings in recent years. In addition, we continue to advise major clients on vertical agreements, competition law compliant standard contracts and compliance programs. We also have considerable experience in dealing directly with the European Commission.

Our Brussels office has a Swedish desk led by partner Pontus Lindfelt. In addition, we offer clients of the firm advice on multi-national and regional trade matters that come before the WTO through WCI Consulting, the firm’s stand-alone business advisory affiliate in Geneva. For example, we have represented a Swedish electrical company on joint venture negotiations regarding a fossil fuel electrical plant in India and a cogeneration plant in Thailand, and a Swedish government agency on a development project involving investments in the Polish energy sector. The build, operate, transfer (BOT) legal structure was originally created by White & Case. Lawyers in the Stockholm office have employed the BOT structure on behalf of Swedish power companies seeking to develop project financings in Eastern Europe and Asia.

Telecommunications, Media & Technology, TMT
White & Case Stockholm office has established a substantial practice in space and telecommunications law.
